Gordonstoun is a leading full boarding educational school in Scotland.
It is situated on 200 acres of wooded land. It was founded in 1934 by Dr. Kurt Hahn.
He is well known for his prestigious Duke of Edinburgh Award inspiration, which he developed with Prince Philip at the Gordonstoun.

The founder of Gordonstoun school had a passion for starting up educational centers, which came from school system admiration.
He partnered with former German Chancellor Prince Max of Baden, and they founded Salem School in Southern Germany.
After learning he was not safe in Germany, he fled to Moray, Scotland.
Motivated by his passion for imparting knowledge to young people, Dr. Hahn launched his brand-new school Gordonstoun.
He got financial support from the local wealthy families.
The school was named after where it was built, the 13th-century estate.
The school expanded fast due to its broad academic curriculum and character growth. Prince Philip was among the school’s first ten students.
The school motto ‘There is More in You,’ encourages every person to fulfill their potential academically. Students acquire experience in being team players and leaders and being active in providing services to the local community.
The school comprises students from different social, cultural, and geographical backgrounds.
The students are amicably engaged by using the institution’s facilities, including music studios, sports, drama, and dance centers.
